Hand Therapy
Hand therapy is an integral part of the recovery process following injury or surgery to the hand and wrist. Even when surgery is performed flawlessly, range of motion, flexibility and strength often do not return properly without hand therapy. Our Hand Therapist works closely with our Hand Surgeons in treating conditions including:
Traumatic injuries
Post-surgical cases
Fractures
Dislocations
Arthritis
Burns
Wounds
Tendon lacerations
Nerve lacerations
Sports injuries
Nerve compression
Custom-fabricated, lightweight, removable splints can also be made for a variety of hand and wrist conditions.
