Salem, NH – Orthopaedic surgeon Joshua M. Philbrick, MD, of Essex Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, recently earned Subspecialty Certification in Surgery of the Hand by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS).
Dr. Philbrick, whose practice emphasis is hand and upper extremity surgery, is one of only 16 orthopaedic surgeons in the State of New Hampshire to receive this Subspecialty Certification, joining his colleague at Essex Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, Dr. Crawford C. Campbell, in this significant achievement.
The Subspecialty Certificate is for ABOS Board Certified orthopaedic surgeons who have demonstrated qualifications in Surgery of the Hand beyond those expected of other orthopaedic surgeons by virtue of additional training, a practice characterized by a volume of cases in Surgery of the Hand, or have made significant contributions to this field. Dr. Philbrick also passed a rigorous computer-based examination.
